2 Corinthians 12:7-10 – A Poem About What I Want

What I want I cannot get – I am unwilling to change – To become what others expect

Happiness is not within range – If denying self brings respect – Do I want my life rearranged?

I exist for God lest I forget – To deny his gifts would be deranged – I want to serve God and that I get

God made me “me” so should I want to change? – I get to serve here, eternity is set – Living for God that cannot be exchanged

Respect from self brings a life not to regret – Happiness from my God is within my range – I get my life which means I want what I get
