Are People Seeing?

Jesus said, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father (John 14:9). As a corollary, if people have seen us have they seen Jesus?

1. Christian is not the only “name” we bear, but by wearing it we are claiming to be following Christ. If people have seen us as individuals, have they seen Jesus?

2. Church of Christ is not the only “name” we bear, but by wearing it we are claiming to belong to Christ. If people have seen us as a community, have they seen Jesus?

Since if you have seen Jesus you have seen the Father, let us not be guilty of blaspheming their name – “For, as it is written: The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.” (CSB’17 Romans 2:24).
