Are We Guilty Too?
One of the gravest errors of the Jewish leaders, is one we commit still today. When Jesus claimed the Jews had ears but couldn’t hear, and eyes but couldn’t see; Jesus was quoting OT realities about OT Jews; and OT prophecies about NT Jews (Isaiah 6:9-10; 43:8). God’s imperfect servant (Isaiah 42:18-20) would not see and hear God’s perfect Servant (Isaiah 42:1-4). So the next we think God’s Servant is teaching against someone else, that is a grave mistake.
