The Kinds of Christians Satan Loves
Satan doesn’t care if you are a Christian. In fact, he probably prefers that you are a Christian. That doesn’t sound right, does it?
If you aren’t a believer, Satan loses the ability to tempt others to call you a hypocrite and discredit Christ’s Way. He misses the opportunity to have others ridicule all Believers because of you. Satan likes that there are Christians as long as they are worldly, sensual, distracted, lukewarm, backbiting, bickering, and busy talking about everything else. Satan loves “Cultural Christians”. They fit in with the world and his plans.
Notice what the Sanhedrin did NOT tell the apostles to do:
• “So they called for them and ordered them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.” (CSB’17 Acts 4:18)
Their threat had nothing to do with forcing the disciples to recant belief in Jesus. Just be quiet about it. That would make both the Sanhedrin and Satan happy. Are you a “Cultural Christian”? Or are you a disciple of Christ’s Way? People will know by the way you talk…or don’t talk.
