Room In The INN
“There was no room in the inn” (Luke 2:7) (NASB, KJV, ESV). Whilst that is probably better translated, “no room in the guest house (NIV, CSB), let’s go.with the traditional, “No room in the inn”. For Jesus, there was no room in the INN. But with Jesus , for everyone and anyone, there is always room, because of Jesus there is room IN the INN:
1. “Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing INN the heavens INN Christ.” (CSB’17 Ephesians 1:3)
2. “For he chose us INN him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless INN love before him.” (CSB’17 Ephesians 1:4)
3. “He predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he lavished on us INN the Beloved One.” (CSB’17 Ephesians 1:5-6)
4. ” INN him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace” (CSB’17 Ephesians 1:7)
5. “He made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he purposed INN Christ” (CSB’17 Ephesians 1:9)
6. “as a plan for the right time — to bring everything together INN Christ, both things INN heaven and things on earth INN him.” (CSB’17 Ephesians 1:10)
7. ” INN him we have also received an inheritance, because we were predestined according to the plan of the one who works out everything INN agreement with the purpose of his will,” (CSB’17 Ephesians 1:11)
8. “so that we who had already put our hope INN Christ might bring praise to his glory.” (CSB’17 Ephesians 1:12)
9. “INN him you also were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit when you heard the word of truthI the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed.” (CSB’17 Ephesians 1:13)
In Bethlehem, there was no room in the INN. Thankfully, there is always room with Jesus. And because of Jesus there is room IN the INN.
