TODAY’S PRAYER – 1 Corinthians 1:4
TODAY’S PRAYER – “I always thank my God for you because of God’s grace given to you in Christ Jesus” (1 Corinthians 1:4). There are people, brothers and sisters in Christ, we thank God for because of what they mean to us. Maybe they are mentors, or spiritual parents, helped us financially, taught us something, corrected us with love, and the list of reasons to be grateful is personal and endless. But we don’t always get along, do we? When people leave a congregation because of me, it hurts. Deeply and discouragingly. When we have problems, the solution is found in Paul’s prayer: “Loving and grace giving God, I thank you for the people, even though they have hurt me, because despite that hurt, you have given them your grace. Amen.”
