1 John 3:12 – Who Are We Worshiping?
Both Cain and Abel offered bloody sacrifices. Abel offered a sacrifice from his flock to his God. Cain, when he brutally murdered his brother, offered a sacrifice from God’s flock to his god, Satan: “Cain was of the evil one and slaughtered his brother” (1 John 3:12). The lesson for us is we can be worshiping Satan when we are sinning against one another.
