2 Corinthians 6:11 – Open Hearts
One word to look for as you read and re-read 2 Corinthians is “heart.” Consider the following: 2 Corinthians 6:11 (HCSB) We have spoken openly to you, Corinthians; our heart has been opened wide.
2 Corinthians has the second most times Paul uses “heart” (18%). This is a letter following and encouraging change. It is impossible to change people, but it is not impossible for people to change. We can even influence that change for good by opening ourselves up, by being honest, revealing our hearts through our words and actions. Everyone needs to change, if we are honest with ourselves. No one is immune to sin and complacency. That latter one affects us subtlety. No one is immune to personality conflicts. 2 Corinthians helps us overcome.
