Esther – Groups That Don’t Assimilate
There was a complaint against a group of foreigners that they just would not assimilate. And for that reason they should not be allowed to live within the nation. That complaint was made by Haman against the Jews in Esther. That complaint has been made by many throughout history against against the Jews. That complaint is being made today by many against the Muslims. Strangely, that complaint is even being made today against those who take God’s stance on morality. Just thought I would point out the historical similarities. May we have compassion on those who don’t fit in and yet want to live in peace.
