Genesis 3 – 1 Question; 3 Directions
One question directed three different ways could have made a lifetime of difference:
1. Eve should not have thought, “What if it is God who is wrong?” That was the serpent’s position.
2. Nor did she wonder, “What if it is the serpent who is wrong?” He claimed to know better than God.
3. Eve could have asked herself, “What if it is me who is wrong?” Aren’t many of our problems caused by giving ourselves more credibility than we deserve?
