Psalm 94 – What I Can Do
I yell “Help!” God says nothing. I cry “How long?” God says nothing. Confused I shudder in prayer, “But people are hurting?!” God says nothing.
The hurting continues…the hurt ones, the widows, the orphans, and the strangers, those alone in the world; suffering from the powerful, the arrogant, the ones claiming “God does not see.”
What can I do? I can stand up against the evildoers, and rally those who agree. I can take a stand for righteousness against the wicked, and fortify myself with friends. I can examine myself for flaws against God’s laws. I can pray for help when I have failed. I can do what I can do, and then wait for what God will do.
Most importantly, I can remember and trust that God will make what is wrong, right…because God has already spoken.
Now read Psalm 94.
