One of the amazing aspects of God, at least to me, is God’s ability to express contradicting emotions without being contradicting. Love, hate, justice, kindness, remorse etc. can all exist simultaneously within God. An example we could probably better understand is when a child is lost and then found. Love, anger, relief, frustration, all exist simultaneously. When thinking of OBL, one emotion does not overrun and replace any. I am filled with love for his soul, hatred of his actions, thankful for justice in his fate both temporally and eternally, kindness towards our armed forces, remorse at his eternal fate, etc. The more we feel contradicting emotions without contradiction probably means the more fully like God we become.
