Poem – Not Over Nor Under
Over the hill, up higher I climb, To holy ground and God’s heights sublime.
Jokes say, “Better over than under,” But is that focus this life’s blunder?
Voices sing “This world is not my home,” Yet clinging still this earth’s hill to roam?
Man’s world is filled with hills that crumble, Why embrace here which tempts to stumble?
Beyond hills, not over nor under, Heaven’s hills are my over yonder.
