1 Corinthians 8 – Love and Knowledge
To grasp all the possibilities can aggravate or gravitate relationships by having us repel or accept those different and blind to all the possibilities that we see as potential realities. To grasp all the possibilities means that we can see more than one point of view, not necessarily contradicting, but rather complementing one another. To grasp all the possibilities can also mean that we work at understanding what motivates others, even striving to see what they see even when they are wrong. Just as thought leads to actions, our thoughts and actions lead to reactions to and from others. Therefore viewing life from a broader perspective can forge better relationships as we can see what the other is thinking, or else it can fill us with pride and arrogance as view others as being ignorant. To put it succinctly, knowledge can make us prideful, but love builds one another up if we use the knowledge God gave us properly.
