TODAY’S PRAYER – 1 Corinthians 4:3-4
I get depressed and down too easily sometimes, (not that many care – see I told you “too easily”). I don’t thrive on people’s approval of me and my work because I too easily upset others unknowingly. In prayer I will rephrase and personalize 1 Corinthians 4:3-4 – “All Seeing Judge, Help it to be of little importance to me that I should be evaluated by others. And yet help me not to base my salvation on evaluating myself for I may not be conscious of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this. You are the One who evaluates me. Through my Judge, the Mediator Jesus Christ the Man, I pray, Amen.”
