1 Timothy 1:15 – My Sin
By saying, “My sin is not as bad as your sin,” I become self-righteous. By saying, “If you don’t condemn my sin, I won’t condemn your sin” I become self-protective. By saying, “I can live in my sin, but you can’t live in yours,” I become hypocritical. By saying, “All sin is equal so I can’t condemn your sin,” I become religiously politically correct. By saying, “I am not a sinner, but you are” I become a demi-god. By saying “I am a sinner unwilling to live in my sin, so let me help you as you help me,” I become God’s message of grace.
