Matthew 28:17 – The Power of Doubt
The power of doubt is that it can overcome facts. The power of love is that it can overcome those same facts. The power of free will is that we choose to live in doubt, or by love.
In Matthew 28:17, some worshipped Jesus after His resurrection, but some were doubtful. The fact of His death led to doubting the fact of His resurrection. Their doubt rule them. Their doubts overcame the facts. Love can do the same. Their love for Christ could have overcome their doubts.
God knows the facts of my unworthiness, but His love overcome those facts. That is why Jesus died and was resurrected. We need to love one another so that doubts do not ruin when love can rule.
