- From the voice of God, to the voice of Satan.
- From the voice of Heaven, to the voice from Hell.
- From God declaring, “This is my beloved Son,” to Satan tempting, “If you are the Son of God.”
- From the Holy Spirit descending upon Jesus, to the Devil rising up from Hell.
- From the Holy Spirit descending from heaven, to the Holy Spirit leading to the desert.
- From the water of the Jordan, to the thirst of the desert.
- From triumph, to temptation.
