Romans 1:5; 16:26 – What Type of “Church Person” Are You?
There are 3 types of “church people”: 1) Those who emphasize the righteousness of God to the extreme they live in constant fear for their salvation. 2) Those who emphasize the grace of God to the extreme that they live thinking God will accept any worship as long as our attitude is right. 3) Those who understand we are justified by faith which does not remove God’s commandments – this is the “obedience of faith” (Romans 1:5; 16:26). This group lives in security and subjection. I fall into this third group. It doesn’t mean I have to be right in everything so I am secure; but it does mean I try as I am in subjection to my God, Savior, and King.
