Titus 2:10 – Marketing the Gospel
Marketing makes sense. Beautiful hair when selling hair products; not someone bald or ratty. Healthy people when selling vitamins; not someone decrepit and pale. Strong bodies when selling athletic equipment; not someone who really needs it. All this is simple which is why true Christianity will always fail at marketing. While our lives are to adorn the word (Titus 2:10), God starts with the spiritually ugly and sick. While our lives are to grow more healthy and beautiful, they will never be as perfect as outsiders hypocritically require. Just because God makes us better, does not mean we are always good. Marketing is about the finished product. God is not done with us yet.
