The Only Begotton and First Born
Jesus taught how the real events of the OT show his coming (John 5; Luke 24). Here are how two separate narratives become one in Jesus.
Sacrifices, the Only and the First Born: Stories Foretelling Jesus
1. God provided the sacrifice to save the only begotten son (Genesis 22; Hebrews 11:17).
2. God provided the sacrifice to save the first born son (Exodus 12).
3. God provided the sacrifice, his only begotten and first-born Son, to save me (John 3:16; Colossians 1:15).
As the lives of the OT saints foretold of the coming of Jesus, so today the lives of all NT saints must tell forth of Jesus coming again.
