Psalm 23 Reapplied
The Lord was His Shepherd, the world did not want. He made the Lamb to lie down nailed to a cross; He led Him through the stormy waters. By resurrection He restored His soul, because He walked in the paths of righteousness for my name’s sake. Though the Lamb of God walked through the valley of the shadow of death, He would fear no evil, for our Shepherd was with Him. His rod and His Staff He used to comfort me. The Lord’s Shepherd prepared a table before the Lamb in the presence of His friends. The Lord anointed His head with a crown of thorns; His cup could not pass. Therefore goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the House of the Lord and Lamb forever.
