How to Teach
I am always looking for ways to help myself and others teach. Each of these steps are necessary and built upon one another: 1) Inspiration – Respecting the word of God as holy; 2) Interpretation – Understanding the word of God as originally intended; 3) Application – Understanding how the word of God fits into our lives in applicable ways; 4) Perspiration – putting the word of God in action through work. When looking at these four steps we can hopefully see where we fall short in our teaching. 5) Proclamation – putting all that we have done into words completes the actions of a teacher.
