Poem – Fall and Rise
Fall away; fall away; to forsake and forget Christ’s scar;
I have fallen; fallen far; God keeps calling; “Home’s not far.”
I look downward; He sees me; how I hurt him; how he bleeds;
Tears do fall; selfishly I settle, neglecting real needs.
Looking upward, I ask disgraced; “Is home near; with God’s grace?”
Heaven’s open; God sees; how he loves me; Christ took my place.
Tears I cry; relieved I sigh; love received by God’s supply.
Rise up, heed the call; see God’s eyes; come home to live on high.
