Poem – Cannot Force Saints to Raise Holy Hands
Cannot force saints to raise holy hands or kneel on knees;
Ah, but to sit and pray, we pose holy as we please.
The whole of this plea is not holy posture per se;
But wholly to pose, “Are we too comfy when we pray?”
While bending bodies can’t bow unholy soul and heart;
Mercy can holily bend, as sin rips hearts apart.
So please sit, stand, even crouch down or raise holy hand;
Positioned by broken holiness to Heaven’s land.
