The Greatest Power Granted to Mankind?
Of all the powers God has granted mankind, the most amazing is the ability to do what only God can, except by His endowing power. That ability is to create life. If you want to know why we should bring our children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), it is because if you are a parent, you have used your God-given power to help create an eternal being who will either spend forever with God or with Satan. Get to them to Jesus. Get them to church. Go with them. You too are an eternal being by God’s power.
