Unbelievers as Witnesses?
How are unbelievers witnesses of Jesus’s resurrection? This is not about secular writings such as Josephus who reported Jesus’s resurrection. This is about you, if you are an unbeliever, or those you know. Unwittingly, you admit to Jesus’s resurrection.
1. Not counting the name of Jesus, can you name one other person crucified in the first century?
2. If not, the fact you know the name of Jesus is an argument that unlike all the thousands upon thousands of others crucified, his story must not end like theirs – with a crucifixion.
3. The fact that you also know how his story continues with the resurrection is an argument itself that the resurrection is real or else you never would have heard of Jesus.
4. Therefore, if you have heard of Jesus, you are a witness that he did exist even if you don’t believe!
