When a Friend Dies
A friend died today. I won’t put the name so that I don’t infringe on another’s place. This pandemic makes it lonelier for his wife as we couldn’t be at the hospital waiting to see if he would recover from his heart attack. We hurt and rejoice as love and hope teaches. The sky is blue and I am overwhelmed with the power of God that a single spirit can depart from this earth and pass through the sky and space, “to be with Christ” (Philippians 1:23). Then one day that same Christ will make the journey through the heavens back to our realm for our resurrection.
If you do not have this hope, and ability to rejoice, let me introduce you to Jesus. Let me know when you want to meet because my friend’s exodus shows eternity is decided today.
