Acts 11:1-18 – How to Have a Bible Discussion
A fascinating scripture worth emulation by all is too often unnoticed. It is Acts 11.18. After an argument over what was biblically right or wrong (11.2), after proof was presented (11.3-17), “When they heard this they became silent.” It’s hard to accept truth when we are thinking of rebuttals, unwilling to consider we are wrong, instead of silently considering what has been said. “Then they glorified God….” What a marvelous reaction to being wrong. What a marvelous example for us all: Speak, Listen, Silence (think), Acceptance, Glorification.
