Galatians 4:17 – The Anti-Church
The Judaizers tried to isolate or shut out their targets from people like Paul. The Greek word here is ekkleiō. Since the church is the ekklesia, when people, teachers, preachers, and their ilk start to form “parties” making people fearful of being rejected by them, they cease to be the church and become “the anti-church” (phrase by Peter Leithart).
