A – HIGH PRIEST 5) So Christ also did not glorify himself (heautou) to be made a high priest (archiereus), but he that spoke to him, “You are my Son (huios), This day have I begotten You: 6) as he said also in another place, You are a priest for ever After the order (taxis) of Melchizedek (Melchisedek).
B –PRAYERS OFFERED: 7) Who in the days of his flesh, having offered (prosphero) up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able (dunamai) to save him from (ek) death,
B’ – PRAYERS HEARD: and having been heard for his godly fear, 8) though he was a Son (huios), yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered; 9) and having been made perfect, he became to all them that obey him the author of eternal salvation;
A’ – HIGH PRIEST: 10) named (theos) of God a high priest (archiereus) after the order (taxis) of Melchizedek (Melchisedek).
