Judas’s Eternal Wrong
The greatest error Judas committed wasn’t when he betrayed Jesus for money, nor when he betrayed Jesus with a sign of friendship – a kiss. Notice Jesus’s own words – “Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the one to come.” (CSB’17 Matthew 12:32)
Judas’s greatest error was thinking he couldn’t be forgiven and not asking for grace. Not asking for mercy in this life led to Judas’s temporary wrong becoming eternal.
Whatever you have done, don’t make it worse and permanent. Not seeking God’s grace is a greater error than any sin committed. The loss of hope was Judas’s eternal wrong.
