A – WHO/HOW – PEOPLE CALL:
A1) And it will be
A2) that everyone
A3) who calls on the name of Yahweh
B – WHAT: Will be delivered;
C – WHERE: For on Mount Zion
C’ – WHERE: and in Jerusalem
B’ – WHAT: There will be those who escape,
A’ – WHO/HOW – GOD CALLS:
A1) As Yahweh has said/promised,
A2) Even among the survivors
A3) whom Yahweh calls.
Joel 2: 32 and Acts 2:38-39
A – WHO/HOW – PEOPLE CALL:
A1) “AND IT WILL BE” – And Peter said to them,
A2) “THAT EVERYONE”: “Repent, and each of you
A3) “CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD/YAHWEH”: be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ
B – “WILL BE DELIVERED/SAVED”: for the forgiveness of your sins;
B’ – “THERE WILL BE THOSE WHO ESCAPE”: and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
A’ – WHO/HOW – GOD CALLS
A’1) “AS THE LORD/ YAHWEH HAS PROMISED”: For the promise
A’2) “EVEN AMONG THE SURVIVORS”: is for you and your children and for all who are far off,
A’3) “WHOM YAHWEH CALLS”: as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.”
Joel 2:32 and Acts 2:40-41
A – WHO/HOW – PEOPLE CALL: And with many other words he solemnly bore witness and kept on exhorting them, saying,
B – WHAT: “Be saved”
C – WHERE: “from this crooked generation!”
B’ – WHAT: So then, those who had received his word were baptized;
A’ – WHO/HOW – “GOD CALLS”: and that day there were added about three thousand souls.
