- Matthew 5:3 – “Blessed are those who are poor in spirit, as long as they wear a tie to serve the Lord’s Supper.”
- Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are we who mourn, that others are not as holy and righteous and doctrinally perfect as we.”
- Matthew 5:5 – “Blessed are we who are meek, as long as you don’t criticize us religiously.”
- Matthew 5:6 – “Blessed are we who hunger and thirst after being the only right church in town, for we will fill ourselves with loathing righteousness.”
- Matthew 5:7 – “Blessed are we the merciful, as long as your sin is not sexual.”
- Matthew 5:8 – “Blessed are we who are pure in heart, which explains why we can scripturally gossip about your impure sins.”
- Matthew 5:9 – “Blessed are we peacemakers, as long as you admit we are right and you are wrong, when you walk down the aisle to confess bringing reproach upon the church which is us.”
- Matthew 5:10 – “Blessed are we when we persecute you because the kingdom of heaven is ours, now get out.”
