Rare Steaks and Eating Blood
“Someone” visited a church. The sermon was on Jesus’s blood. The preacher mentioned the prohibition of eating blood but that didn’t involve rare steaks since the juice is not blood. Then the preacher, who had a dry sense of humor, made the off-hand comment that the only way to eat steak is a medium-rare. Without thinking, “someone” said “Amen!” The congregation burst out laughing. There are just times when you got to say Amen!
