Love Is Rare

Love is rare, when you find it, treasure it. Not so fast. Love is everywhere, everyday, found one time in one place. That is the “universal rarity” of the cross: Romans 8:37-39 (HCSB) “No, in all these things we are more than victorious through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!” All other love is derivative: 1 John 4:19 (HCSB) “We love because He first loved us.” That doesn’t make it less special, but even more. When you find true love, then you can find true love. (Cue, The Princess Pride)
