Colossians 2:12 – Baptism

It is fitting that baptism is an immersion imitating a burial. Under the water the eyes are closed, the breathing stopped, and death is imitated. Rising out of the water we open our eyes anew and breathe in life again. Yes, it is fitting that baptism imitates a resurrection.
